Simply Moving - Tom McJilton Bait and switch. Gave me one price on the estimate and them added many extra charges. Plus they came 4 hours late. Baltimore Maryland

Unfortunately I did not check this site before I booked my move or I would have found a review very similar to mine. I had an estimate in writing, then talked to Tom McJilton in person to get confirmation that I would not have extra charges. I thought it was all set as in previous moves there is always some push from companies for extra costs but here I had done my work. All lost things were packed in boxes, I had move the fragile things myself and all I had left was my furniture so the costs were clear and the move should be easy. Man was I wrong, Once they got there all they wanted to do was argue about the price. They wanted to charge extra for the elevators, long distance to elevator, etc, etc. Plus I had to pay extra because I had not "packed" my couch or mattress. Be aware I had already agreed to pay extra for packing a glass table top.

Also they came 4 hours late, costing me an extra half day off work. When I called I was told they were in traffic but finally they told me it would be another 2 hours. The key is that your estimate means nothing to these people and they are very aggressive and abusive in fighting about the bill. I had to stick with them as it was my last day in the apartment building.

The bottom line is that this group is a set of con artists and thieves. What ever you do, do not let them move you.
