Singlesnet.com is a singles web site that is very deceiving. When somebody looks at your profile you get an email that says they are interested in you and you can respond if you want. The email never came from these people. It is generated from the site not the person but does not tell you that.
There is very little on the site to explain how things work. It makes it seem like you have a lot of people interested in you when you don't. It takes you a while to realize what is really going on. They also have georgeous women flirt with you to get you to join so that you can respond to them.
Myself and several friends had the same thing happen. This woman of course never responds back. At that point you are a paying member which is their goal to begin with. Trying to get a refund is useless.

Not only that

But this site (and several other 'big name' singles sites) are hotbeds for the nigerian scammers. The person that you think that you are conversing with is usually a picture taken off from a models site, the conversations scripted to make you think that you've found 'the one'. Very little is done by these sites to protect the members there for the purpose of finding a friend/partner. Refunds? Yeah, right.
For anyone thinking about using one of these sites in a quest for a true romance, beware. For more information, google 'nigerian scams' or romance scams and you'll find that a lot of them are connected to romance sites like match, harmony, etc.
Jeff, instead of going through one of these expensive sites, check out chat rooms such as talk city.... there you can build a repoire without cost, and maybe even meet someone nice (I met my husband there many years ago). Good Luck!
