I ordered a complete stop smoking kit with extra accessories and supplies up front to save money on the back end. The order was placed on 11/21/09 and charged to my Mother's Visa Acct. on 11/24/09. I have written them via their website to file a complaint tkt. and emailed them numerous times, but to no avail. I cannot get anyone to answer me back or advise where the order is. At one point in mid January they advised me they were shipping my product, but I still have not received it.
Also, on 2/2/10 they sent me the following notice in an email: "We thank you for your custom and welcome you to the Smart Smoker family. We are writing to inform you that your Smart Plan is about to start! We would hate for you to run out of cartridges so we will be shipping 30 cartridges to you in the next 3-4 days. Your card will be charged for $59.99 + $14.99 S&H and we will auto ship your order." I immediately emailed them back and said to cancel any/all accts. that might be set up with them and to "Not" ship any more product or charge the visa account again.
I had to close down my Mother's visa acct. and set her up with a new one as a result of this, so that she could not be automatically charged more for any possible auto shipments that they may try to do. I am very upset by this company's lack of concern and customer service and strongly feel it is a scam of a company. Please let me know what can be done to go after them for money charged and no product shipped. Thanks for your help in advance!

Hello I work for a disputes department for Bank of America and have dealt with this merchant many times
The best thing to do right now is to call this merchant and cancel immediately any future charges, the account, and any other affiliates that may be associated
Ask for the agent that your speaking with for a confirmation number in cancelling the account, and also for the agents name.
Also, ask for a credit in not recieving the merchandise
If you do not recieve the credit, nor merchandise you can call your credit card company no matter what it is, be sent to billing disputes, and dispute the charge
This will take it into investigation as to basically why they've billed you and have never recieved the merchandise. If its anything like our system, a temporary credit will be added to your account during the dispute process, in basically settling out and resolving the issue for you. If your going to do this, please have information avaiable such as what products that were bought, last attempt to contact with merchant, date ordered, date suppose to recieve. All of these are key information in proving your side of the case.
Try to resolve the issue with the merchant before calling though, because sometimes the merchant can just credit back to the account to avoid having a dispute filed against them.
I basically if I were you in your situation, would try to contact this company and try to resolve, if no help, call the number on the back of your credit card!
