SMC Corp. SMC is the ultimate ripoff company! They are the only company in America that operates without supervisors! Simi Valley California

I have been dealing with SMC CORP. since January, 2007. I ordered their package of "invaluable" information. I signed up for their payment plan of 39.95 per month for 12 months. My order was confirmed and was to be shipped within a week.

I waited for 2 weeks and nothing arrived from them. I called their 800 number again and was directed to the "customer service" department. This was a joke; if all customer service departments were this incompetent few businesses would survive.

I was told, after 8 phone calls and 12 different people (no supervisors, I was told supervisors didn't speak to people) that in order to keep my 30 day trial in effect while they "traced" my package I had to write a letter and send it, then fax an explanation to a corporate person named "Rick" at 1-805-584-8036 ext.5691. They also told me that I would have to include my member #.

This was another problem due to the fact that I hadn't received the package which contained said #. I faxed this on February 14,2007 5 days before my "money back guarantee" expired on the package I had never received.

I asked several times for another package to be sent to me during this span of time so I could indeed see if this was a business I wanted to participate in. They said they could not send another kit until they tracked down the initial one. They told me to give it another few weeks and we would go from there.

They only said they would replace the kit several months later because I was now "bound" by their contract. I said no way did I want the kit now! I went several more months back and forth calling and being promised a phone call from a supervisor. I finally talked with 3 "supervisors" in one day who told me they had verification of delivery and that there was nothing they could do but send me a new kit. All the while they continued to deduct money from my bank account. I went to the bank filed a rebuttal with Visa and canceled my card so they could no longer charge anything on my account. That is another aggrivating story!!!

I then got a letter from SMC saying they would not charge me anything else but they would not refund any money if I just dropped the whole thing. If I persued the matter I would be charged the rest of the money they say I "owe" them. For the kit I never received!!!

By now I am livid. I contacted DHL which told me and faxed to SMC that the package in question was successfully delivered to the post office in my town but it was up to the post office to deliver it from there.

The package, in turn, had the wrong address on it and the post office had no idea where the package went to. I relayed this information to SMC, who have no supervisors to talk directly to the customer, who told me that they had confirmation that the package was sent to the "correct address". This "correct address" was the address of the post office.

I have now been turned over to a collection agency for a product I have never received! I thought that the fact that TOM BOSLEY was indorcing SMC made it a reputable company but even "MR. C" from "Happy Days" can't be trusted!!! I am continuing my fight for not only the principle but for the money and my credit.

How can such a large and great company like SMC treat their customers this way? Can they only sell their memberships by dishonest practices? Is their business so disreputable they have to trap people into accepting their product?

Do not subscribe to this business nor buy any of their product!!!
