This company (The Debt Advocacy Center) took my money and did nothing for me. I subsequently lost my house. I have been trying to get a refund for months. Their guarantee is just a hook to get you in. From time to time I call the company for my refund only to get bounced around. BUT,
This time my call is answered LAW FIRM OF SMITH GROMAN AND DAVIDSON, P.A. and I am told it is now a law firm. After further questioning Im told that Smith Groman and Davidson has absorbed The Debt Advocacy Center. Edward Davidson happens to be the owner of The Debt Advocacy Center and a partner in the law firm. Freaking amazing. I researched every possible way I know of and cannot find out whether or not Edward Davidson ever practiced law in his life. The former website (www.thedebtadvocacycenter.com) for The Debt Advocacy Center is mysteriously gone now but identical to what the Smith, Gromann & Davidson, P.A. website is now. DONT BE DUPED. THEY ARE ONE IN THE SAME.
SMITH GROMAN & DAVIDSON is nothing more than a front fake law firm being used to hide The Debt Advocacy Center from the public along with their F rating with the BBB caused by some 31 serious complaints, including a judicial Cease and Desist Order, against them. I looked up Smith & Groman and found a law firm at a different address in boca and a BBB rating of D-. BEWARE

We want to respond to the claim from VON but we are unable to as we cannot identify who it is. VON is purposely disguising who he or she is by failing to put the last name on the statement. We have never had a paying client be foreclosed upon when requiring a modification.
We would not be surprised if this was placed by a competitor or someone who breached our contract by failure to pay and where we would not have worked on the assignment.
It is unfortunate that people can post defamatory remarks without identifying him or herself so that the company can respond.
If this person would like, we would be happy to review the merits of his or her claim.

The assertion in the Rip Off report from VOn is simply untrue. When someone retains Smith Gromann and Davidson P.A they have only retained the lawfirm.
The DAC simply does certain marketing and operational functions for the lawfirm. All Smith, Gromann and Davidson clients are dealing with a lawfirm that operates under the attorney's Canon of ethics.
