In December of 2002 I purchased CDRs from Bestbuy with a mail-in rebate to Sony Corp. Sony sent a card stating my rebate was denied. When I sent them an e-mail they say that only one rebate per family is allowed. As I am the only person at my address that purchases computer supplies I only bought one package (because of the rebate) and only sent one rebate in.

At this time they are still denying the rebate. The only thing I can conclude is that if any one the the USA with the same last name sends in a rebate no one else with that name will receive a rebate.
