The previous comment is total bull crap. I f this guy really worked there he should know about the crazy, nutcake case manager who is more mentally and emotionally unstable then most of the clients and who flies off the handle in front of the clients. I was a client there for a while and these people don't have any sense of boundaries. They didn't know I was there as a client but I am also a drug and alcohol counselor. If this place was a family, they would be one of the most dysfunctional families I have ever seen. The groups are done by counselors who spend the whole time talking about themselves. That's a problem when hiring counselors in recovery. the groups become about their program and they show no other counseling skills outside of self disclosure. The group focus is on them and all they do is yap about themselves. Thurman and Don are the worse in this department.
The lead counselor's ( Don) agenda is to promote his homosexuality for everyone to know. The whole program is like a stage to him and he is the director, leading actor, producer and the rest of the cast is made up of his counselors and the clients. Everyone there has to come and see the play called "did you know I am a homo " . Just recently he took all the clients to see a play he was on called " Oklahomo " LOL This guy is another narcissist who apparently has to convince others that is okay to be gay. I think he is having problems convincing himself. I swear I am gonna write a book about all of this crap. This guy has got to be one of the most unprofessional counselors I have ever seen. And yeah he is the lead counselor I was told. Two of the main people there just came back from detox I was told and also read in one of the entries here. WTF this program can even keep their leadership from getting loaded?

the Green level Director is always having " special groups " with the good looking women. Hmmmmmmmmmmm

The RAs really rock this guys deserve a lot better

This place is another " warehouse " and once they go to the green level, the clients get to do whatever they want. This type of "warehouses " just collect the money and don't give a rat's a*s about the progress the clients are making. I have seen many like this one. I plan to write a book about all of them.
Families keep your children from this " Nut House ". unless off course you want them casted in " Did you know I am a homo?
