South Florida Tech Group- Owner- Andrew Scott- I use to be a tech for this company until they started docking my pay for supposed late invoices which were never late and deducting 10 percent at the end of the month for not sell 3 Microsoft license which by the way they use kms activator which is highly illegal and will be reported to Microsoft and also 3 mp plans which by the way is useless as they log in to your computer and damage it to force customer into os installs and charging an arm and a leg for a key which they use KMS activator that is found on the net to illegally activate windows. This company isnt local and is robbing techs and customers. They upsell amazon products at a ridiculous rate and are NO LONGER BBB ACCREDITED !!!! All techs that have gotten scammed by this company dont be afraid to come foward as contracts arent valid. He needs to be operating in florida with a real storefront which there are none. There are a bunch of fake google listings. Cant wait till this company is shut down, i almost forgot to mention how they charge tax on LABOR!

If a tech has evidence of a crime being committed that pulls him out of his contract! I cant believe anyone would want to represent Andrew Thomas Scott! 3 failed tech companie's, all failed due to him commiting fraud behind other technician's. Dont trust south florida tech group. Kori Ellis which was managed under Andrew Scott is still there and she knew what was going on. When s**t hit's the fan a few people will be in jail. Kori Ellis if you are reading this please get out of that shitty company and go infront of a judge and explain everything, think about your family its your only way out. Andrew Thoma's Scott's lawyer good luck in fighting several technician's. Matthew Gonzalez, Azhar Ahmed, Frank Amigo, Nate Devore. I could name several more tech's this company has screwed over plus illegaly activating Microsoft Product's under other tech's. The sad part is if you didn't meet quota in 3 Microsoft Office products at $299 for Office and $350 for Windows 10 pro they would deduct 30 percent of your sales on each product. Technician's were forced to install teamviewer so later they would log in and illegally add kms to antiviru's rule and make Program's legit by using a program called kms activator.

He has opened up 2 previous tech companies which he closed down due to fraud in using kms to activate windows. Now he supposedly sold south florida tech group and he liquidated all his assets why? We have evidence proving fraud was commited using kms, all information has been sent to Microsoft. He is in litigation with several techs in which he is trying to do everything in his power to win and take there money he won't

South Florida Tech Group - Kori Ellis- This company scammed me into purchasing what i thought was a legit Microsoft Office. 2 months ago i called South Florida tech group and spoke with Kori Ellis in cleaning my computer, i gave her access through team viewer and said My office was old 2003 that its a must to upgrade to Office 2016.
I ask for price and she said $225, i said ok. Once charged she uploaded files to my pc and did something that alerted my antivirus then i saw do something quick and bam Office 2016 was installed and activated. When i asked for a license key i was given an invalid one. I asked what happens if i have to reinstall and she said you have to pay a fee.
AFTER CALLING MICROSOFT THEY SAID WHEN YOU BUY A LICENSE YOU CAN REACTIVATE AS LONG AS ITS THE SAME COMPUTET. BEWARE AND LISTEN TO ALL THESE POST AND DONT EVER USE THIS CROOKED COMPANY!

They sued me for writing the truth
AUTHOR: Nate-James - (United States)
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, May 16, 2018
Andrew Scott with South Florida Tech Group, previously named Exclusive Consulting, Inc., previously named Nite Lite PC sued me for posting on this site. It cost me 4 years, two relationships, and thousands and thousands of dollars. They even put me in jail until I had money to pay his attorney, with the argument that I owned a couch and a laptop, so I could sell those to pay his attorney. But I have a duty to protect Americans first, and I will fight for my fellow citizens. When I quit working for him a week later in 2008, apparently most of the employee names and Google listings were fake and he turned out to be the owner working out of his bedroom.
I was forced to file a police report alleging that he was stalking me and showed the police text messages from his phone number threatening to "end me" if I continued offering computer services, and the horrendous posts about me on Craigslist with a copy of my DL that only he had access to. After the police left, I received another text stating "the police can't save you". They were right, the police had zero interest in my safety, they only react if the dog bites, if you're a guy anyway. From my personal experience; He basically finds competitor computer companies online and tells them he can make them rich if they shut down their shop and work for him, and later if they don't do it, or they post any bad reviews about him online, they will have hell to pay.
Then when you refuse to participate in his illegal or questionable business practices, or you make way less money than expected and inevitably quit to continue working for yourself or previous company; he proceeds to harass and threaten you with frivolous lawsuits in hopes you will just keep quiet about your experience and give up on computer repair altogether, as he will remind you that you signed a two year non-compete, and you probably can't afford an attorney due to the fact that he knows all your information. Claiming that "going back to work for yourself or previous company is a violation of law and he will surely sue you, or call code enforcement to harass you about something, or worse".
He literally paid people to write Angie's list reviews during his lawsuit against me, so Brantley Oakey, his attorney, could trick the court into believing he was a reputable company. The address he has posted on Google for his storefront, 780 5th Ave S, is actually a litigation or mediation office where i would have to meet his attorney, definitely not a computer repair shop. So which one will you do today Andrew?? Write a rebuttal and pretend to be an employee who just thinks you're the best boyfriend, I mean boss ever, and tell the court you have no idea who posted it?? Sue me,.. Again!! ?? Did you really think I'd keep quiet after what you did? Change your business name,., For the fourth time?? Or get out of my town Nitelitepc.com exclusiveconsulting.com southfloridatechgroup.com

BEWARE SOUTH FLORIDA TECH GROUP ANDREW SCOTT AND KORI ELLIS!!!
AUTHOR: Timi - (United States)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, May 10, 2018
All of these post are authentic by individual techs. I worked at this company until i was made to use kms then all of sudden i got in trouble for it and lost my job. I didnt know activating with kms was illegal until a tech brought it up to everyones attention . There are several techs ready to file a class action, Andrew Scott lives in Colorado and operates from there. He absolutely does not have any store fronts and through email he can acted as anyone. Company is not bbb acredited https://www.bbb.org/west-florida/business-reviews/computer-consultant/south-florida-tech-group-in-estero-fl-90124713 He even closed company down http://search.sunbiz.org/Inquiry/CorporationSearch/SearchResultDetail?inquirytype=EntityName&directionType=Initial&searchNameOrder=SOUTHFLORIDATECHGROUP%20P150000237650&aggregateId=domp-p15000023765-d0ee8dbb-29bc-4dcd-b0aa-110c65d2c31d&searchTerm=south%20florida%20tech%20group&listNameOrder=SOUTHFLORIDATECHGROUP%20P150000237650
This happenned to a Tech that worked for him which now owns a nice tech shop in Naples https://www.naplesnews.com/story/news/crime/2016/09/11/north-naples-shooting-victim-recovering/90137262/ They tried to assasinate him. Andrew Scott had issues with this tech prior to this happening. TECHS BE CAREFULL!!!
He is still operating company under other individuals. Research this company before you do any buisness with them its all lie's. We are waiting for a few more techs to start a class action lawsuit on Andrew Scott. He is acting as if he sold company so Microsoft wont go after his money or property and so labor department doesnt fine him and puts him in jail for labor fraud. I was a secratery there with no knowledge and Andrew Scott took advantage of me by forcing me to sell Microsoft licenses then he would have me log in through teamviewer when client wasnt at pc during the evening to install kms and add to antivirus rule.
All products come from amazon which are marked up 150 percent or more. There are a ton of customers complaining about being charged double and charged for services they didnt do. Tech he is talking about Frank Amigo did a job overnight making serious money for the company then Andrew Scott didnt want to pay him finding excuses until Frank Amigo got frustrated and they fought, Matthew Gonzalez was another great tech Andrew Scott screwed over and many more techs to name. The system he has constaly glitches to deduct for late invoices. Luckily several techs took pictures and documented system glitching when invoices were submitted. ANY TECHS THAT WORKED FOR THIS COMPANY DONT HESITATE TO COME FORWARD AND LET THE WORLD KNOW HOW THIS COMPANY HAS STOLEN FROM CUSTOMER AND TECHS ESPECIALY MICROSOFT.
TOGETHER WE CAN SHUTDOWN COMPANIES WHO PREY ON CONSUMERS AND TECHS!

AUTHOR: DTR - (United States)

I have worked at the South Florida Tech Group for more than 3.5 years now. I have seen technicians come and go. I know that we only had one tech leave us from July - December, Faheem Amigo and I know that Faheem only was with us for 2 months. Faheem Frank Amigo was the one that wrote all of these reviews, not different people. Frank did not pass his advanced background check as he had several felonies that he did not disclose in original application. Frank Amigo and South Florida Tech Group were forced to part ways. We have serviced more than 10,000 customers in the last 11+ years and we are bound to get a bad apple from time to time. Andrew Scott is not the owner, and he does not work for the tech group any longer. Andrew was a great leader and truly helped me to be a better tech and interface better with the customers. But a new owner has taken over in 2017 so Andrew is no longer with us. If Andrew ever caught us cheating a customer, we would get fired. Andrew was always going above and beyond for both the customers and the employees. Andrew helped me many times late at night with questions I had. I hope to do 5 full years here and I hope to move up to a management position. I would recommend South Florida Tech Group to anyone considering their services or a career in technology services.

Andrew Scott is a horrible person and makes his money buy extorting his technicians and training them to exort clients. The process he has is designed to be long and tedious which results in a technician being docked 15-30% of his salary. Giving Andrew 60-70% of the commission instead of the tecnician. Andrew uses KMS activators ALL the time and instructs us to do so. He has also told us to sabotage cllients.
Andrew uses Amazon and just has his employees mark up Amazon prices hundreds of dollars..
He had is website deisgned over seas by contract to hire developers that created a invoicing system on the SFTG website. He thought he could design it better than Quickbooks - TOTAL FAIL

I am also a former employee there. They promised benefits and a steady pay schedule which was never received. Too the point at one time the owner was sending out mass text messages to the employees saying he could not pay. They make you sign an agreement that they can sue you if you post any bad reviews about them. They use scare tactics so you don't speak out about what is going on in the company
You are trained to run software on peoples computer that just find basic things like tracking cookies and make them think they need a $200 windows install to secure their data. They want you to tell them they and their information is completely comprised which in the case of an actually virus is true but Andrew Scott the owner says to do it when their are just tracking cookies.
They make you sell Microsoft licenses at $299 and then when a customer needs a reinstall they need to pay again because that license is just for 1 computer and can not be used again.
I have remoted into businesses where they were using pirated adobe software installed by the tech! They also use the KMS activator which is pirated software to install licenses.
The best thing we could do is report them to the software manufactures and let the real companies put an end to this.
