Southeastern Freight Lines Charged $60 for Free Shipping Lexington, South Carolina

I ordered a patio furniture set from Home Depot's website that included free shipping and was delivered by Southeastern Freight Lines.  It came in two boxes, and the driver put them on a cart and rolled them down the driveway and placed it at the entrance to my garage.  I never specifically asked for him to bring them to the garage.  I signed a form after it was delivered, which the driver would not let me read.  I thought that was the end of it.

About a week later, I received a bill from Southeastern Freight Lines for $60, indicating one charge for $30 for "Liftgate Service" and another $30 charge for "Inside Delivery," even though it was only dropped off at the garage.  After calling Southeastern Freight Lines, they never even clarified what "Liftgate Service" even meant, and said that it was supposed to only be curbside delivery.  After looking at my Home Depot order, it did state curbside delivery in the fine print, but in the two times that Southeastern Freight Lines called me in order to set up the delivery appointment and the entire time the driver was there, no one ever mentioned that there would be any additional charges for anything other than literally dropping it off at the curb.

Fortunately, Home Depot has agreed to refund me the $60, however they should not have to make up for the corrupt business practices of Southeastern Freight Lines.
