The school will not assess based on your individual academic needs as a student;  The academic adviser I dealt with starting August 2012,  withheld information such as the ability for older, experienced students to obtain credit under the  Assessment for Prior Learning,  they failed to articulate transfer credits and steered me towards the catalog that would require me to take the most units possible!  When these (AND OTHER) issues were brought to their attention, they responded by providing more conflicting, inaccurate information!

They appear to be attentive, as they answer your calls and emails promptly, but if/when you ask a question that will take money out of their pockets, i.e., prior learning,  the issue is never addressed and they they will redirect your attention;  pretty soon I realized it's their way of putting you in a non-questioning state, better known as BAIT and SWITCH! 

I feel it is my duty, as an older person, returning to school, to warn others as they advertise their online degree/ degree completion programs in the Southern California viewing area where I am located!

If your options have left you dealing with this school, REVIEW and question anything you don't agree with or understand on your academic plan!  In other words, approach them as you would a used car salesman who just opened a car lot! GET EVERYTHING in writing and do NOT assume that anything said on the phone will be accurate;   For your protection, keep all emails and request an email outlining your verbal conversations!
