I have been a student and have paid them over $10,000 and only have 3 hours completed. I thought I had dropped this final class on time, they say I was one day late and they are charging me another $975 They could careless about me and only want to take advantage of me. They care only about how much money they can collect. You would think they would want to take care of their students especially ones that have paid them a considerable amount of money. If they cared about helping the student they would not let this happen and try and protect the student from financial hardship Maybe charge the student $100 for missing the drop date if you are within a week. Charging the full amount is ridiculous

Why stop there...

Well aren't you generous, offering to pay $100 because you missed the drop deadline by a single day.
But why stop there, why should someone who drops the class a day after the deadline have to pay the same as the person who drops it 6 days after? Shouldn't the person who misses the deadline by just a day and "thought" they did it in time only be penalized $25? Perhaps go even farther and anyone who misses it by less than 12 hours only get charged $10.
With a suggestion like yours let me guess that your degree you are going for is Government Entitlements AKA Social Services.
One final question. How come you didn't have a problem with this fee and come up with the $100 option when you registered for classes? Oh...let me guess you didn't actually read what you signed when you registered and figured that any date or fee they gave you was just a "suggestion"...right?
