I cannot say enough bad things about this guy Carlos or this company. They are complete scammer's. I implore you never to hire this company. However, if you already have and are now in a predicament like we in Countryside Village faced. Sue them. We won our countersuit against them and we were awarded over $115,000 which includes attorney's fees. You can search online at the clerk or courts and view all the records for the case. The case number is: 2002-25986-CA-01
Also, I recommend hiring the lawyer that was used in our case. He would obviously be uniquely qualified for going against SPM again!
His name is Michael P. W At the time his office was located in Kenda near Dadeland Mall and the number was (((Redacted))) not sure if this is still accurate, but you can probably google him. Oh and by the way we countersued because SPM would not produce all of our association records after we fired them and they tried to claim that they were not responsible for the records even though it was clear they were.

I hope your courtship with Carlos M Arteaga does not end in tragedy as it did in our community. You need to take the blinders off and think if you really would recommend SPM Group Inc or Carlos M Arteaga if you knew that with is handling property management business with a revoked or suspended CAM license. The complaints you can find on this site are for very good reason. You may not be having issues with Carlos M Arteaga (yet) because he has been very good at masquerading his true self. Just as the people from Palm Springs Villas how the community was left after they terminated SPM Group Inc. This criminals know how to play and milk the system and they use attorneys that match SPM Group Inc in every way. They pray on ignorance, they lie, and the just plain don't care about you, me or anybody else other than what is in there best interest at whatever the cost. Good luck and I hope that you can move from your property before you find out the truth about your hero. Just do yourself a favor and query on this site and Google the name SPM Group Inc. ARTEAGA, CARLOS M CAM6843 view license status "License revoked"

Carlos and Raul, I just want to take a moment to thank both of you personally as well as your staff for a job well done. It is customary for people to take time off from their lives to complaint and write poisonous letters about property management companies. I am taking a few minutes of my time to write these words of encouragement because of our great satisfaction during our communitys roof and paint repairs.
I want to congratulate your entire team for the efforts displayed during these difficult times while our condominium was getting a facelift. I really mean your whole team of employees, from the guy that picked up the garbage to the property manager; every single one of them always had a positive attitude and a desire to work.
I would highly recommend SPM Group Inc. to any other community that is looking to do hire a competent and service oriented management group for their community.
