Sportsmens Guide Gary Olen REFUSAL to Match Prices FALSE ADVERSTIZING RIP OFF - Contacting Minnesota Attorney General's office South St. Paul Minnesota

In June of 2005 I contacted Sportsmen's guide to purchase some 8mm Romanian ammunition. I was sold on their buyers club, which is a memember ship cosco type club where you pay an application fee and then are promised the cheapest prices for advertised items. In bold letters on the companies front page the company states specifically that they carry the lowest prices and best quality and furthermore as a member they Guarantee this as being a member of the buyers club. So to my surprise in shopping for Romanian 8 mm FMJ Ammo they were over priced by 20% by another company who claims to have the cheapest price in the USA.

I contacted customer service and instead of matching the price they stone walled and argued with me that the two items are dissimilar.

Tasha who claims to work for Customer service repeatedly hemmed and hawed stating that "You always get the lowest prices at Sportsman's Guide" but when provide with evidence this is not true they just tried to full me bullshit that the products weren't the same. To sell me a membership and not provide me the best deal and price match as a term of that membership is dishonest. THIS IS FRAUD. Gary Olen SHAME on you.

As a result I am contacting the Minissoda Attorney's generals office to look into Sportsmens guides unethical business practices and hopefully this post will get the attention of a class action litigation attorney.

You ask why why am I posting this. . . Well I can promice you I will not be doing any more business with Sportsmens guide.

TWO REASONS
1. And I have posted this report on rip off report knowing that when ever anyone does a search and types in Sportsmens guide that they will see it probaly as the 2# return. They will realize the Buyers club membership is a phony fraud.

2. They will realize that Sportsmens guide doesn't have the lowest prices Guaranteed and will choose to do business with more reputable stores who don't make false promcies and outright lie.
