#1 Consumer Suggestion
Lavender Plants -- Awaiting Refund
AUTHOR: Janon - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Friday, May 29, 2009
In April, too, bought 24 lavender plants from Spring River Nurseries. Mine arrived, but some were dead, some nearly dead. All have since died. Even if they had been healthy, they were so tiny! None was larger than my little finger. I don't believe that even healthy plants of that size could create a hedge as depicted in the photograph provided within 20 years.
However, I was successful in contacting Spring River and they immediately agreed to refund my money (We'll see if I actually receive it.)
The phone number for Spring River Nurseries is, 269-621-2259, and they are in Hartford, MI.
I'm hoping that others who have wasted their money on the plants will also receive refunds. I suggest you go to your local nursery and buy a couple of 4" levander plants. This is what I did -- I spent $15.00 ($8.00 less than Spring River charged) and now have ten times the lavender plants, and -- Whoo-h*o! They're alive!
