I have had Sprint telephone service for many years and recently (in June) decided to use them for their DSL service because of the great promotion they had going.

When I called regarding some charges on my bill, they told me that since I had Sprint Solutions, I could sign up for Sprint DSL for only 24.99 a month for the first year, and after that, I could drop them if I wanted to, and there would only be a 60.00 set up fee. However, the CSR told me that there was a 60.00 rebate for signing up! So, I did that. However, ever since then, I have been charged 39.99 a month for the service, which is full price.

Upon calling, they said that there was never any such offer extended. I also never received my rebate, even after visiting the rebate website, entering my info, and getting an "invalid" error message. I called two months ago and they apologized, saying that they would send out my rebate ASAP. Never received it.

I emailed them today and they said that they can't find my record! I'm still paying the full price (even though they offered a promotional price for 1 year) and Im locked into a contract. I have already found one other person at my job in the exact same situation. I know there are others! Speak up against this scam!

While at work today, I have been battling with Sprint over email. The end result?

"............Thank you for your inquiry regarding your Sprint DSL rebate.
Unfortunately, we do not have a record for you in our promotion system. We have forwarded your information to the correct department for research. Please note that it can take up to 3 weeks after this request for us to process your rebate. After that, you should receive your check within 8-10 weeks.

We appreciate your participation in this promotion. If there is anything else we can do to assist you, please contact us at [DELETED]. We are always happy to help...."

I have informed them that I will seek further action. I have yet to hear a response from that.
