St. Matthew's Churches played on my vulnerability at the time. uses new theology regarding blessings from god if you follow their directions and send money Tulsa Oklahoma

In dec. 2002 I contacted st. matthews church with a mail inpre-written card.
They replied with a "seeds of faith" pacquet and a prayer by letters.I began by mailing in a weekly pull out from the pacquet.

The prayer by letters seemed to be personal replys to my problems. They expected me to reply with answetrs to their questions and money. The money was to be a seed toward my eventual answer fom God-a harvest.

The biblical promise is written in the bible and that is the new theology that they were expecting me to believe. Everything they said was backed by biblical promises. I did look them up and felt this was true.

I went with them for 2 years, each month being promised that my window of opportunity would open and God would pour me out a blessing. each month that went by, I was asked to send from !00-200 dollars as my seed of faith.

Needless to say, there was always a reason that my harvest did not come. Actually, during that time I did come back to my faith in God, but I began going back to church and in their messages I learned that God does not always bless us this way.

The bishop of my church made it clear that God prefers that we pay our depts by being financially responsibe and not being conned into believing that we had to give money for prayer.

It was then that I checked on St. Matthews in the internet.
