St. Matthews Churches Can we say "I told you so?" Tulsa Oklahoma

I am concerned about the scams going on in todays world, but even being a skeptical, I actually believed the letters and "pretties" I was getting from St. Mattews Churches. I could not wait to "go hide" in private where I could not be bothered just to be able to read these letters. My husband on the other hand threw a fit! He wanted me to stop obsessing over these letters because of scams and not really knowing where or why they started coming to our mail box. So, I started hiding the letters and did not tell him I was "donating" to what I thought was a good thing. Well, about 3 months have passed and he ended up checking the mail before I did and it was our bank statement. NOT GOOD! Of course, it showed the checks that have been written from our account and that we did not have enough money to cover a check that I wrote to "them". Can we say who's in trouble now! The bank paid the check and after a huge explosion between my husband and I, he said he would no longer put money in OUR account. Well, I was out to prove him wrong and I ran across this website and several others and I am shocked! The only words that are stuck in my head are " I TOLD YOU SO!" coming from my husband. We have been married for 12 years and we make mutual agreements and the one time that I did not, look what happens. Back to my point, I am very concerned about who is behind this and to be honest, kinda hurt that I was played for a fool and tapped out of my own account. Lesson learned. Just do your homework first and check out everything instead of writing a check first!
