The real problem with this company is not the products. It's the way the owner treats his strictly female staff. He hires only young women because he likes to intimidate, bully, and subdue them! I witnessed him throw his office phone at one of his female employees, poke his finger into the head of another young lady, and literally scream at his female employees at least once a day! I worked for this man when I was 20 years old, I am now 38 and I've actually been a customer relations director at a fortune 500 company myself. After witnessing numerous mistreatments of his employees and his infantile temper tantrums, I decided to terminate my employment with Billy Duke. I went into his office and very privately gave my resignation. I used the excuse that I had been offered another job. To which he did as he normally did and threw a tantrum. He demanded that I leave the premises of his property immediately. So I stepped outside of the building to wait for my transportation, He came outside of the building and told me I had to leave the property completely and forced me to walk to the other side of the street. All because I decided to very privately and professionally end my association with star health and beauty. The way this owner treats his employees is the most despicable disgusting thing I've ever witnessed in my entire life. People do not let your daughter's work for this man, he will only degrade them and treat them as sub par human beings. And salon owners you need to see who this person truly is, do you really want to use a product from a man who treats women this way? We are not talking about a manager who's a little tough on his employees, we are talking about a person who gets off on the power of treating women a certain way.
