I was contacted by Chris Ludwig of Startup essentials, 3even though my phone number is on a DO NOT CALL list. He "sweet talked" about helping me to start a business "IF" I met their qualifications. When asked about their business, he said they were members of the BBB. When I asked if they were in good standing, he said (with a laugh)," of course we are".

After checking with the BBB, I found out othersise. As of May 2007, the BBB had cancelled their membership cor failure to respond to complaints and other reasons...see it for yourself. I also asked if I could think about it. His rsponse,"what's to think about? If you don't make your decision now, we will have to give it to someone else."

Dummy me, i made the WRONG decision. The notebook was FEDEXED to me and I received it @7:00Am the next morning as I was going out of town to a doctors appt. While at said doctors appt., the company called my cell phone and stated that I had to tell them THEN if I had received the package or not. i told them I got a box but I wasn't sure what was in it.

The lady on the phone then said,"you understand this lease is non-canceable". At first I didn't answer because i wanted to know what I was leasing, so she said it again, rather rudely (I might add), and said did you hear me ma'am? I said," yes I heard you. " she said thank you and hung up the phone. I came home and started researchingthen. i have made complaints to the BBB and the FTC and now you. i hope some one will take this case on REAL SOON. However, in the meantime, I am going to do as the other lady sstated.

I am contacting my banks fraud division and contacting them to find out where all their promised equipment is.

Contacted Lawyer

AUTHOR: Carla - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, July 02, 2007

Hi Jeremy,
I contaacted the lawyer you gave me the name to. Unfortunately, you are telling people untruths by telling them he has filed a class action lawsuit. He has, in fact, filed a lawsuit by one person forsaid person and - on behalf of others like herself. He also saiad he was glad to hear from others like myself and the one who has pursued the lawsuit. It may come to be a Class Action, but it is not yet and you should not be telling people that it is.

I am not a customer of yours and do not know exactly what you are selling. But most people know how to write a letter, return items "registered", and contact local persons of interest. So, unlless you are selling some "magic potion" that assists people in getting out of their lease, then you are in fact "A SCAM". As most persons can talk to any lawyer for a free consultation and they will tell then the necessary steps for free...versus your fee. Good luck in making your money the way you did when you worked with "Start-up Essentials". I just hate to know you have continued in that kind of business. God Bless. OH...thanks for giving me that lawyers name, so I was able to find out the whole story.

LeaseBreaker Owner Answers

AUTHOR: Leonard - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, June 11, 2007

Carla.

So, you're not a customer of ours, but you have the nerve to call us a scam?

What a relief.

I haven't 'shyed away' from any questions.

The fact that any attorney has not spent thousands of dollars on mail-outs yet (like I did) is because they're not at a stage where it's makes economic sense to do so.

If you want information from me, you've used an incorrect channel to get it.

There's a post somewhere on Ripoffreport.com where I gave the startup essential/A-1 leasing class action attorney contact information out.

I guess you're just going to have to find it for yourself.

NOTE TO ANYONE READING THIS:

Ripoffreport has a VERY good book for fighting back against scams. I know, because I own it, and recommend it. In fact, if $67 just seems like too much to end this Lease headache, go get their book!

You'll have to do a little more 'reading between the lines', in the case of fraudulent 'non-cancelable leases' but it's great info that works.

Or.. like I mentioned above in my other post: the actual steps to break your lease CAN BE FOUND FOR FREE.

So, there you have it.

LeaseBreaker is in fact: NOT A SCAM :-)

So... Why not come clean about the claims against Leasebreaker.org?

AUTHOR: Carla - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, June 11, 2007

HI again,

I am quite sure you mean well and need to make a living just as the rest of us do, but upon doing a search for the lawyer's name you posted, I came up with little. Also,if you want to argue with another person, please do so on his post and not mine. He is NOT the ONLY ONE that has file a ripoff report against leasebreaker.org.

I spoke to my lawyer concerning your claim about a Class Action Lawsiut already being started. He has looked into it and so far as found nothing. Why aren't these "lawyers" doing mai louts, as you did, to find persons to join the suit? Seems strange to me that you are selling a product on how to break a lease, and claim to have access to lawyers that have already filed a suit, yet you do not direct people to these lawyers, but instead, you attempt to sell them your product. Why did you not answer mt previous questions about this matter?

Seems to me, all that gllitters is not gold, and you are shying away from answering a few too many questions for me to fill comfortable sending you $70when I can pay ripoff report $21 for the same info. What gives?

What do you REALLY get with LeaseBreaker?

AUTHOR: Leonard - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, June 11, 2007

Jack, you're telling on yourself.

I just pulled this post up by typing in A-1 Leasing, and here you are, 4 days later trying to blast on LeaseBreaker.

Which is strange. If you paid for LeaseBreaker, you paid less than $50, and you are no longer paying lease payments. Hardly a reason to attack the company and call us a scam.

So, I know who you are. I've met you face to face. You're no customer of mine. And you're going down.

Here's the information contained inside LeaseBreaker:

1. How to stop paying on your lease. We show you step-by-step what to do if you want to stop making payments immediately.

2. How to get in touch (and who to get in touch with) with the appropriate government agencies to report fraud.

3. Where to send the leased equipment and what to tell them,

4. How to properly alert consumer watchdogs, and what you should tell them. (Example: BBB, Media, etc.)

5. How to hold the lying sales person accountable.

6. How to take action against the owners of the companies responsible for scamming you into a lease.

So, if that information seems worthless to you, definitely DO NOT get LeaseBreaker.

If you'd rather go get the information on your own, it's definitely out there.

Thanks for your attention.

LeaseBreakers - Another Ripoff, Avoid them! Lease Breaker's so-called insider info worthless, JEREMEY ESTES actually worked for Startup Essentials

AUTHOR: Jack - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, June 09, 2007

Avoid Lease Breakers, it's just another scam. In fact, 'Leonard Anderson' isn't even a real person. (Check out the very bottom of their site in the fine print)

Turns out 'Leonard Anderson' is really JEREMEY ESTES. Not only is Lease Breaker's so-called insider info worthless, JEREMEY ESTES actually worked for Startup Essentials and SOLD PEOPLE INTO THE LEASES TO BEGIN WITH!!!

He made over $60,000 in commissions selling people into the lease. THE SAME PEOPLE HE IS NOW TRYING TO MAKE MORE MONEY ON, BY SELLING THEM A WAY TO GET OUT OF THE LEASE HE SOLD THEM.

Seems a little shady to me.

And THAT'S a FACT...

Owner of LeaseBreaker

AUTHOR: Leonard - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, June 07, 2007

Hi Carla - congratulations on taking the steps to break a lease that you feel like you were tricked into signing. The people will eventually stop being able to do this.

I have a quick comment and a question about your post:

Comment: there has already been an 'ACTUAL' class action filed against Startup Essentials/USA Card Services and A-1 Leasing in Texas. I would suggest you have your attorney contact Hubbard & Biederman in Dallas, TX.

Question: You said LeaseBreaker is a scam. I assume that you either never received your download, or were unimpressed with the information contained.

I own that company, and am very interested in knowing why you feel that it's a scam. Your feedback would be valueable, if you could reply in email to the address your PayPal receipt came from.

We do have a satisfaction guarantee.

Thank you so much for your help, and you are an inspiration to others who have found themselves in the same predicament you're in.

Startup Essentials & A-1 Leasing/Bond Corp, Dallas, Texas

AUTHOR: Carla - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 05, 2007

Yesterday & today, 6/04&05/2007, I tried to contact both of these companies to speak with them concerning my account. Neither of them will answer the phone, instead you leave message after message and no one returns the calls. DO NOT use leasebreaker just another SCAM!

I finally contacted a legal firm, thru pre-paid legal, and he has said that it is definitely fraudulent activity and a SCAM. I am going to check into getting the ACTUAL Class Action Lawsuit going, but I need some help on this so they know there are others involved. Some of you might sign up thru prepaid legal. it's $26.00 monthly and you CAN cancel ANYTIME. I live in GA and it might help to have some lawyers in other states working as well.

OH,FYI. I called the company 2 days after signing my lease and told them I wanted to cancel. When he said I couldn't, I asked him about the 3 day cooling off and he said there was no such thing in his state. Then he said soory and hung up. IF you go that route. be sure to put it in writing, call them AND tell them YES there is SUCH A LAW!

Thanks to all of thoses willing to get involved and put these companies out and persons in JAIL! Call THE STATES Attorney General (DALLAS & YOURS), the Federal Trade Commission, The BBB, and file a police report. These are the things I have been advised to do!
