I have been a boarder here for over a year now. I read the “honest” report before coming, but before believing a possible disgruntled customer’s complaint, I decided to check out the facility for myself and I am glad I did. My gelding has never looked better and healthier. Careful attention to his weight and helpful feed hints from the owner of the farm, has made his coat and body weight. The heated barn has kept his hair from growing long and shaggy to be ready for show season. The indoor arena has let me practice in off season and the heated barn keeps me comfortable so I am not freezing my feet off.  Plus I can bring in my own trainer as needed.

I have been at a lot of barns and know the drama when a boarder tries to push the limits and make the barn run exclusively for them; not wanting to “share” ride time with others, so they find a way to criticize another trainer or other boarders.

My horse gets plenty of turnout on grass pasture, there is a rotation in the 6 pastures, but it all works out fine. The owner is careful to tend to your specific horses needs as mine does not play nice with other horses and needs to go out alone.  As long as my horse is happy, I am happy.

One of my favorite things about this facility is that not only does the owner live on site, but so does the barn manager. It is nice to know that both of them are always around and that they know what signs to look for if my horse could be sick. It’s a comforting feeling know I can miss a weekend and come back and know my horse is in great care.  

Overall I am happy with my experience here and I like that they not only have so many turn out options but also have the indoor arena, outdoor arena and then an outdoor round pen to get my horse moving. Glad I checked it out for myself.
