Googled for TurboTax and fourth listing on the first page was this bunch. Great prices for TurboTax and sell Quicken too. A company with the same name in the tax field had a BBB A+. Should have looked harder. SHOULD HAVE LOOKED HERE! Bought TurboTax Premier. Tried to download and got a security message that the program lacked the digital signature showing it was a valid copy.
Then, before opening questionable softqarw, I did what I should have done and looked harder. Email address given does not exist. Telephone number belongs to another company at the address they give. Better Google search found their "F" rating with BBB for failing to deliver the software they sell. Intuit site says they are not an authorized reseller. Google led me to report here!
No end to the scammers, it seems. Pretty dumb, considering the potential criminal penalties for Wire Fraud. But they were doing it last year. Let's make 2017 memorable for them, shall we?
