Dealing with Straight Talk is a nightmare. Every rep has a different answer to the same question and all the answers are lies.
In the course of 3 calls I was lied to at least 6 times. Your customer service people seem to think that if they don't know the answer or the answer they are giving me is not true and they know it they simply terminate the call. I purchased a phone that turned out to be defective. I called about and in the course of our conversation the rep told me that policy is I don't get a new phone until I send back the defective phone. After enough complaining on my part they agreed to send me a new phone and an envelope to send the defective phone back in.
Well I waited for the new phone and it never came. Neither did the envelope. So I called and your automated system told me that my new phone was ship and that my tracking number was......and nothing.....no tracking number was given. So I call cust service and the rep told me that my tracking number was emailed to me. And that it was on the label I was to use to send the broken phone back in. Well I called Fedex and was told that no package was in route to me. And that they would never use the same tracking number for two shipments. So I called you back again. And your automated system now said. You phone has been shipped and it should arrive in 3 to 5 days. So I got a customer service rep an it turned out that my phone was never shipped out at all. And that it wouldn't be shipped out and neither was the envelope to send the broken phone back in. The rep then proceeded to tell me that you would not ship my new phone until they got the old phone. Now this was contrary to what the very first rep I spoke to said. After numerous calls and getting lie after lie after lie. I asked your rep to admit that they were lying and she said they they were not telling me the right thing. Semantics. So I went to Walmart and returned the phone there. I came home to acitivate it and was told, to bad for me those days I didn't have a phone were gone. I wasn't going to get them back. So my 45 dollar purchase of a card was not worth the 30 days it was only worth 23 days. So I lost 7 days of service because of your companies error. As a result I called again and a supervisor talk to me and said they would give me back 5 days only. So here I am. A new phone without my 30 days. I am out financially 26.00 for the screen guard I had put on the phone when I thought it worked but didn't. And I am out 19.00 because I had to pay taxes again on the new phone I got from Walmart. And let's add some insult to this injury. I lost 2 days of service when I couldn't even use the phone if I wanted too.
