I sent an invoice to my tenant using Billdu. Billdu transferred my information to STRIPE and an account was opened on my behalf that way.  My tenant paid July's rent with a credit card.  I do not accept credit cards and I do not authorize that mode of payment.  Additionally, STRIPE kept the rent money for about 10 days, which I did not know because I initiated the invoice using Billdu.  My tenant payment receipt says computer supplies and it is for rent.  Furthermore, Stripe charged me $51.51 for a payment I don't accept, and they are refusing to reverse the charge in order to keep the high fee for a service I do not accept.  They still have the $1,767.12 in the STRIPE account.  I decided to close the account to avoid more charges. I have to re-open the STRIPE account that I did not open on the first place. Billdu transferred to them my information and opened the account.  They claimed that they won’t refund the $51.51 because they cannot loose money.  I am very perplex and unhappy because most of the companies care about their customers be happy.  I need them to reverse the rent money to my tenant's credit card the same way STRIPE took the money so I can pay the mortgage and maintenance to avoid more penalties.  My tenant is not paying me until she has the money back to her credit card.   There is no official manager to speak with, there is no way to call them, the support does not provide their last name and send generic emails.  I feel that their only goal is to charge fee even if their service is not suitable for me. I also contacted the BBB where I read other reviews about their lack of customer service and high fees. I am still waiting for the refund.  Please assist me and guide me. Thank you so much

As a landlord there is no reason to send an invoice. The renter knows how much is due and when it is due because of the lease they signed.

The only reason you would send an On-Line Invoice is to accept payments by things such as Credit Cards. So if you didn't want to accept it, why would you do this? Seems like a mixed message to the renter.

If you are complaining about the fee, the standard fee they charge is 2.9% plus $0.30, based on what you wrote that seems to be exactly what was charged.  It took me about 10 seconds to find the fee on the Stripe Page, and I would bet that during the sign-up these fees were available to you.

So what exactly is the RipOff?
