STS Tire & Auto THIEVES (charge 4 bogus work) (bad workmanship) & (charging 4 work never completed) bristol, Pennsylvania

Went 4 an inspection at sts for the second year in a row, took two vehicles the first year both only a few years old. They told me I needed hundreds of dollars in repair work done to both vehicles along with charging for misalanious items in order to pass inspection such as windshild wipers, gas caps inwhich they replaced my cap with the tether on it an put on a $5. cap and tried to get me for $28. I had tirod endes done on my 06' Dodge Magnum cost me $100 thru my warenty co..

This year the same Dodge Magnum needs hundres of dollars of more work, it seems that the going price there for and inspection is about $400. I refused to have the work done, so they charged me for the full inspection but only put on one of the stickers. I took the vehicle to a reputable mechanic in town for him to have a look.

I was told by this man who has been in business in town for over 40 years that I needed the break pads that sts had told me were bad, but didn't require the roaters that they wanted to replace. After him further looking over the vehicle he had noticed that the left tie rod end was bad the one that sts supposable replaced for me the year before.

What was funny was that he had no idea that I had that item supposabley replaced by them and inadition to that I hadn't worked for that year either so there hadn't been that much wear and tare on the Dodge Magnum. So my point is did they even do the work that I had been charged for last year and I no that bthey wanted to do work this year that didn't need to be done in addition to trying to sell me tires everytime I walk thru the door even for an oil change....... Don't Go There!!!!!!!
