I had a conversation with a gentleman last night offering me all sorts of holidays all over amercia for a great price. After some time we agreed on a price of 99.00. To my dismay i have gone onto the internet today to veiw my bookings and all of the web sites have disappered and the phone numbers i was given no longer are working. I have informed my credit card company and they are telling me i have to wait until my statement is printed off. Summerbay also took more money than was argreed. I would be grateful if anyone could help as im in the uk. I have emailed summer bay but am not holding much hope as i cant get hold of them any other way.

I would surgest that no one takes up there great offers !!!

If you tell your bank you want a "charge back" filed with them, they have NO choice but to do so, AND they MUST freeze the said monies you had charged to that company on your account. What should happen is this, you dispute the charges, then put a HOLD on your credit card account number and it gets investigated. They will send you a Notice of Disputed Transaction report which you will fill out and either mail to your bank, or if you live close enough, go right in and demand they fax it to their corporate office. You should then recieve a temporary credit toy our said account until the dispute is investigated.

There should be NO reason to deny this claim as the comany is a rip off.

trust me, this happened to me.....ONCE. I did the above and was fully refunded.

I hope this will help anyone out there that unfortuantly fell to empty promises.
