I received a letter along with a check for the amount fo $4700.00. I was told to contact Anne Williams, my claim agent. She told me to go to the bank and cash the check so I could pay the taxes. I took the check to the bank and they told me the check was no good. They said the tracking number was wrong. I called Anne Williams and told her what the bank told me. She told me she would cancel that check and send me another.
That was on June 6, 2007 today is August 15th, and I still haven't heard from them since. I tryed to contact Anne Williams by phone but cannot reach her. The money I was supose to have won was 450,000.00.

Consider yourself lucky that the Bank caught the error

This is a scam. The check is fake, there is no lottery, and had you cashed the check you would've been responsible for the $4500.00. NEVER NEVER NEVER believe you have won a lottery that you never entered. NEVER NEVER NEVER believe that you have to pay TAXES or FEES on lottery winnings BEFORE receiving the "winnings". NEVER NEVER NEVER use Western Union to pay for ANYTHING! Anyone asking payment via Western Union or Money Gram is a scammer, PERIOD.
You got off easy this time, don't fall for it again. You could wind up in some serious trouble with the law.
