Sun Trust Financial Group Personal Loan $5k w/$1250 down RIPOFF!! New York New York

My husband and I were recently presented with this company who CONTACTED US about getting a $5000 personal loan. All we had to do was send $1250 collateral money and we would receive a check or direct deposit for the $5000 (the $1250 would be put towards the loan after 4 months of payments). What I found was the phone number was the same for Immediate Finance (866-815-8159) which has been reported as a scam. Not only does it sound fishy to want $1250 to secure a $5000 loan, but their email address is a "gmail" account and the company is unlisted in the New York yellow pages. When I looked up the address on mapquest I found that the "Suite 1105" was actually "Room 1105", meaning it is most likely an apartment complex. Their website has an error message when I clicked on "About Us" and the site is unsecured. What financial company has an unsecured site where you fill out information such as your social security number? Luckily we didn't fall into their trap, but I had to dig a lot to discover the inconsistencies.

I pray that everyone who gets a call from JUSTIN CHASE does not fall into their scam!!!
