Sunset Group - Sunset Royal - Royal Sunset - Fisherment Village Timeshare Scam I was sold a membership at the Sunset Fisherman Resort in PLaya Del Carmen Mexico. I was told that I was guaranteed an ocean front room with 60 days notice after paying 14,000.00 for a week in a studio apt. The first time ever using this membership, I let them know 3 months in advance what week that I wanted. Now, they tell me that I cannot have the week requested. QuintanaRoo Mexico internet

These people will tell you anything. I was told that I was guaranteed an ocean fron room if I reserved 60 days in advance. That was in June, 2007. Now, Jan 2008, I am told that I cannot get a reservation for the week I want in April at all!! This is my first attempt to use this membership/ timeshare.

I cannot get anyone to contact me about the issue. I have been ignored in my correspondance completely.

Many lies are being told about the high resale values of the time being purchased. This is also a lie, resale values are only about 40% of the origianl value according to eBay and other web sites.

If otheres have been deluded by this group and their offers, we need to band together and file a larger law suite to stop this kind of rip off.

I hope they are proud to have ripped off a widow and her children with this kind of scam! I have paid $14,000.00 for this membership. Now that I cannot use it for spring break, I am screwed!

Be careful, don't get sucked into this lie.
