It just came to my attention that a magazine subscription that I purchased last August, 2009 for my then 3 1/2 year old grandson has NEVER been received.  Two college students came to my door selling magazine subscriptions and stated that they were selling magazine subscriptions and a portion of the sales would be granted toward their college tuition.  At first I declined as I had previously been approached a few times by students trying to sell me subscriptions for magazines that would enable them to go on a vacation/trip to an island resort.  To those students I stated that if they wanted to go on such a trip, they should pay for it themselves and I was not interested in providing any type of funding for unnecessary vacations for someone else.

The two students who came to my door last August seemed to be very honest and straightforward in their sales pitch that this was a fundraiser to help them with college costs.  The only reason I relented was because I have a 3 1/2 grandson who loves children's activity/learning magazines.  So, end result - I purchased a 12-month subscription for my grandson and wrote out a check for $40 to SSA for this.

I didn't think anything more of it until the subject came up in a conversation with my daughter on 2/3/2010 regarding what to get my grandson for his birthday in two weeks, and I asked her how he liked his magazine subscriptions and she said "WHAT MAGAZINE"?  So I looked through my check copies, found the check, and started checking the internet for the company.  Found your site and proceeded to learn I wasn't the only one taken for a ride by this company and decided to file this report.

I live on Social Security Disability and to purchase a magazine for my grandson and have him not receive it, goes too far over the line of acceptance.  I will never purchase another magazine through door-to-door or online ever again.  I'm out the money, but even more importantly my grandson is without a monthly gift promised to him by me.  That is unforgivable.

This company is ran by a man named Vinnie Pitts. I worked for one of these groups for a couple of weeks back in 2006, but quit shortly after i heard that some of the people working for them were just pocketing the money they received from their customers. A lot of the people working for them were into all sorts of drugs and bad habits. I didn't want any part in it. And from the looks of this website, there were a lot of dishonest people working for them. Anyways, this is the correct number as far as i know. You should call and tell them the name of the agent that took your money, it should be on the receipt if you still have it. Goodluck!
