Superior Tech Help - Raghav ??, PC Fix. Obtained access to my computer and advised that I had over 4,500 errors and warnings and that they needed to be removed as my computer was very slow. That was the only explanation I received in the 2 1/2 hrs I was on the phone with them.

Raghav ??, PC Fix. Obtained access to my computer and advised that I had over 4,500 errors and warnings and that they needed to be removed as my computer was very slow. That was the only explanation I received in the 2 1/2 hrs I was on the phone with them. He was going back and forth to different screens, but did not advised why or what he was doing. Several times when I proceeded to ask him a question, he was very condescending and patronizing to me, and never did give me an answer to what I asked. He acted like he really wasn't sure of, or knew, what he was doing. All during the call, he kept hitting the mute button where I could not hear him, but he could still hear me as if he was getting instructions, I suppose. Toward the end of the call, he said that for total security and 24/7 support, I could pay $249.99. He really poured on the sales pitch. I thought he was part of Microsoft or Hewlett Packard as the icon for "PC Fix (Fast)" has bee on my computer ever since we have had it and we have only had it for five months. I didn't put it there as I do not know how and have never heard of them. I gave him my debit card info and paid for his bogus service. The computer was still running slow and I needed to install my Norton purchase. He offered to install it, but didn't have a clue on how to do it. I told him I would call Norton myself to get it installed. After talking to Norton, I was advised by the rep that the "people" I had talked to was a scam and was advised to call them back to get my money. I did and whoever it was that answered started screaming and yelling at me when I told him I wanted a refund and that they were scammers. He said Norton was a scam and started arguing with me. I told him I would contact my attorney and hung up. My banking institution is in the process of getting my money back.
