Support Kids, My kids are 31 and 26 Austin Texas

I enlisted the help of Support Kids over 15 years ago. They were unable to help and after more than a year of my support not being collected, I cancelled the service. It is a service and I understand that there are fees. I don't honestly remember what they were at that time.

Fact is they never collected a dime. I have been working with the Missouri CSE or the courts on this issue since 1983. My children are now 31 and 26. Recently I received a tax intercept payment and found that $10.45 had been forwarded to Support Kids. Of course, the state workers can't tell me why they made a disbursement to Support Kids. I know it's not much money, this time anyway.

I never applied for or collected any type of state aid as my kids were growing up. I didn't receive much in the way of child support from my ex either. I did receive one judgment in court in 1993, and that too has gone uncollected.

I have instructed the Missouri CSE office to forward my case to the proscuiter for review, but I can't even get my name changed on my case through the local office. That's a whole other issue. The system is a joke. Our tax dollars hard at work.
