Surburban Propane Charging me for $77.03 for not using propane, after I paid $53.50 for year tank rent. Branford Florida

I have been doing business with Surburban Propane for many years. But this year I was billed in December 2007 for not using propane in the amount of $77.03. This was after I paid a yearly fee of $53.50 in September 2007 for the tank rental. I have not been billed for this before and the house has been unoccupied for 2 years now. I was never notified that I would be charged for non-usage.

When I called the local office all I was told was that it was a monthly fee and totaled for the year and that did not include the yearly fee I was charged for having a tank. The house is located less than 30 feet from my residence, the service truck never stops to check for service since the company was notified that the residence was unoccupied 2 years ago. They are also aware that the service is for a gas fireplace, that is not used for primary heating since the homes primary heat is electric. They do service my residence regularly.

I informed them to please remove the tank immediately. But I still have to pay the bill. I feel this a is unfair.
