SurplusAlert.com I signed up and didn't even know it!! RIPPED OFF Internet

I responded to an ad that appeared to be associated with ebay, offering free books on improving your ebay sales ( I am an ebay seller). The ad was presented in a way that made it appear credible that the books were free (just pay shipping) as ebay wopuold benefit from increased fees by more items being listed.

Agreeing to pay the shipping signed me up for a 29.95 subscription. I didn't have any idea until the charge hit my credit card and a member packet arrived in the mail. I never received the promised books.

I did find a place to cancel my member ship on the website, but their mailing of member info is clever dated and mailed so there is little chance you will cancel before the 14 day trial is up. So I am out 29.95.
I will be watching closely for any additonal charges.

By the way checking the sites prices, you can do better at local retail sales and not pay padded freight charges.
