Sweetie Pies Petting Zoo RIP OFF, DISHONEST AND RUDE COMPANY & PEOPLE Needville Texas

i hired this company to bring their small petting zoo to my childs bday party. the website says inluded with the petting zoo were seasonal animals and usually includes a baby goat, duck, chicks and rabbits , & pony & mini donkey.

i also upgraded the pakage and added the clown. they were supposed to arrive at 5:30pm and stay until 7pm, they did not arrive until after 6pm and that was after my husband had to leave to go meet them cause they were lost. this did not stop them however from leaving on time at 7pm.

The worst thing was i was told by a few guest that the pony trainer was rude when asked if the kids could ride them again. he did not give a reason he just said no. I would of course understood if the pony was tired or hurt but he gave no reason. the weather was sunny and hot, i brought on my own to him lots of bottled water for the animals cause i did not want them to get over heated. i even asked if he would put the tent up for them since it was so hot and he said no, only if it rain. it did not rain and so he never put it up.

I also fed the workers and gave them drinks, even though he was being rude, the clown was not being joyful she was just painting the kids faces but no extra smiles, she also did not know how to do balloon animals at all! i could tell they were disappointed, they even asked her several times what was it that she made them, they had no clue what the balloon was supposed to be!

They did not provide the mini donkey as she agreed to , nor did they replace the animal. i called her after the party to ask her why there was no donkey, once i confirmed on her site and my paperwork that they donkey was supposed to be included. she only said the donkey got hurt a few weeks ago and thats why they did not bring him, when asked why he was not subtituted with maybe another duck or goat, she provided no answer. she only said you got what you paid for!

After going back and forth and she said she would be no reimbursement , i was livid. then she said she didnt get the money, it all went to her workers!! i told her i dont care who got it , i paid them cash when they arrived, and i should be reimbursed something since she did not fully hold up her deal. she wouldnt budge.

So what could i do i had already paid her, and i wasnt about to sue over $325. I was willing to just forget about it and just never use them or recommend them again, but then she sent me a nasty email full of lies and harrassment.

my advice is to never use these people. i had no contract i only had her website confirming what she wa bringing and her "christian " word. i wrote down exaclty what she confirm by phone that morning what she was bringing also. my kid had a good time, but i stil didnt get all that i paid for. they are not professional and not willing to honor their agreements. a verbal agreement is still a agrement, next time i will get it in writing. i just want to let others know to not use these people!
