This company is UNREAl. I had ordered and paid for some items in 2001 and never thought about it until I went to purchase my home a few months ago. they have mixed someone with the same name to my credit report for $120.00 at the same time I had a paid off account in good standing. they did this by cross referincing their accounts with good credit and standing with those of bad credit and non paid accounts. The guy that ordered the stuff showing on my credit report had different social and different address. I have 24 open lines of credit all pristine. and beause of this moronic company and their unwillingness to credit their own mistake, It cost me a quarter point on my loan because they have put a collection account on my loan. Simply outragous.

And how do I fight this. I have filed disputes with the credit reporting companies. they only go back to creditor and get them to verify that the creditor still claims i owe the dept. those credit reporting companies do nothing to actually verify what the consumer is claiming because they dont care if your credit is messed up at all, they geth their money from the companies that are damaging your credit. And I really dont see any recourse. Sue, them right, I dont think so, you cant take a corporation to small claims. and how do make a company who has ruined your credit accountable. FTC, better business bureu, nope dont think so either. they dont do a thing either.

so I guess Us folks with little resources and no big money to make a difference can get taken by these companies and we have to suffer. This really makes me sick. I spent years keeping my credit clean and now Im paying hundreds of dollars more a year because this cheese company catalog rip off outfit desides Im the same person who lives 15 miles away from me. This really pisses me off royaly.

The calculation is easy if you have a business calculator.

Or simply do this:

[the difference in the monthly payments that result using the two interest rates]

multiplied by

[the number of months in your loan].

And include the requirement that Swiss Colony fully correct their bad report.
