I ordered from their catalog in October. In November they sent me a letter stating that I needed to send 10% down even though my credit was pre-approved. My order arrived in stages. The entire order was not delivered. They bulk of the order arrived on December 27th and 28th, too late to enjoy on Christmas. Then, my first bill arrived on Jan. 8 with a late fee due. They had sent my first bill even before I received my order. I told them that they should EAT the shipping charge of $35.00 because they had messed up my order. I even wrote to the Chairman of the Board of Swiss Colony. They now say that I owe them $87.00 including interest on the $35.00 shipping charge. I have refused to pay them. If you want to buy something nice for someone you love for ANY HOLIDAY, THIS IS NOT THE COMPANY TO ORDER FROM!!!

I ordered from their catalog in October. In November they sent me a letter stating that I needed to send 10% down even though my credit was pre-approved. My order arrived in stages. The entire order was not delivered. They bulk of the order arrived on December 27th and 28th, too late to enjoy on Christmas.

Pre-approval means before final approval, credit plan lists UP TO $XXX meaning any ammount up to that.  (life lessons taught me that. )

As on the news, many shipments were delayed due to weather and carriers not being able to keep up with the ammount of packages in this short shopping season.    If it was garunteed for Christmas delivery workers were allowed to take off expidite charges and so forth for shipping since due to un-seen problems packages were late.

If items were delayed they would ship out bit later, if items were personalized they can take a few extra days or weeks for the supplier to personalize and ship the product.  Did you at any point call in to ask why your order was taking longer than the normal 7-10 days? 

Then, my first bill arrived on Jan. 8 with a late fee due. They had sent my first bill even before I received my order. With the late fee did you speak to credit department about not recieving the first bill, and that the first bill was due before you recieved items?  (If you recieve part of your order they do send out the bill)  

Words of advice from life experience:   If you refuse to pay or even call it will just keep adding up.  When people just refuse to do anything it makes the reps question why now when people finally call to complain months later.   I REALLY suggest calling customer service about the shipping then have them switch you to credit about that late charge.   You are more likely to get help now than if you call months later.
