Before you buy from this company, be aware that they will charge you a restock fee of 25% according to their terms and conditions if you cancel for any reason at any time. Moreover, their customer service is rude and will ignore any commitment to shipping date, email inquiries are ignored, and phone service is an infinite loop of transfers.
In my case, I ordered on May 2. I called on May 3 to see if the part had been shipped already because I had second thoughts about my car's issue - it might not be a transmission. They chuckled and said that it wouldn't ship for several days and while they originally told me it would be up to 10 days to receive the transmission, the guy on the phone told me it might be more than 14 days. I thought - good- If my transmission isn't the issue, I can cancel and avoid shipping and restock fees.
Later that same day,I discovered my issue with the car, and it wasn't a transmission. I cancelled the order by email and asked if they might waive the cancell fee given that they didn't do anything yet. I figured that since they had not shipped - in fact, they weren't even close to shipping my order, that they might waive the cancellation fee.
The morning of the May 4, I receveid a response confirming that they got my cancellation request and asked me to confirm the cancellation. I did - but they never responded to my inquiry about the cancel fees and there was no apparent warning that I would be charged that fee (other than if you're one of the people that actually reads terms and conditions on all orders).
In my humble opinion, a 25% restock fee on a $1300 transmission is a lot of money for taking an order and having it cancelled. I am out $325 because a crooked mechanic at my local Dodge dealership misdiagnosed a problem with my coil as a transmission. SW Transmissions was nearly impossible to work with by phone when I tried to call. When I called customer support, I was transferred several times as soon as I said "Yesterday I ordered....they would transfer me before I could finish my sentence. Until I opened with -"Don't transfer me" I couldn't get anyone in customer service to even speak to me.
I offered what I thought was fair. I'll pay a reasonable restock fee - but not $325. Nothing - no reply. I give up. They refunded 75% of my payment by credit card.
They got their money, but I think you should know that you're dealing with this policy and service level. Since then, I found other compaies that can help you source used parts. This one would not be my choice given my experience with Customer Service and bad refund policy.
Good luck.
