I ordered something forget what site and at the end was offered some magazines for $2 each.  I read the instructions and it said that my account would not be charged if I canceled the subscriptions before the new year subscription otherwise they would auto renew and use my card number for the payment.

Figured what a deal to check out some, but found out I didnt like some of them and had no time to read them at all.  So I noted in my date book the expireration date so I can cancel them.  They were all to be renewed this month.

Well in August these cards came in the mail and you can cancel your magazine subscriptions through this automated system, no Live person at all.  So I did what they had said on the cards for each one that came in.  I also doubled check and was told I had no open subscriptions.

This month I am doing my budget and here are these charges!! for these mags I had canceled and they are expensive!  I have a tight budget and had to tell my landlady to hold my rent check.  I called that number on the cards again using the ID#s they had and still was told by computer lady that I had no open subscriptions and have been canceled.

I was so upset and I had to call the bank ASAP since I cannot afford any overdrawals and limited income. I was lucky to have a great bank that looked into it with a FRAUD complaint.  I did not authorize new subscriptions and had already canceled them in August when the due date to cancel was this month.

Now I receive a card in the mail directly from one of the magazines and could not process my digital edition subscription!  Really?? I did not order this one either!  Said it was due to a missing or unusable email address.  Duh!  because I never ordered it!

Guess you live and learn you cannot trust anything that seems like a deal - always a catch and I followed everything it said, I never do the cook book offers because they say on the cards that another one will be sent each month automatically.  I don't like that and don't think that is right if you only interested in the book they are offering. so I really did pay attention to all the fine print and kept a paper to tick off each magazine I received.

Another one of the magazines I was receiving sent me a card with a deal to order NOT extend the subscription so i never mailed the card because I don't want it.  Hope they don't try to charge my account again they have a big surprise lol..

I blocked my bank account and plus received a new card so they can't charge me for what I didn't order! One way to be sure it won't happen again because it will be the last time I accept any order like that.  If I really want to read a magazine I will just buy one at the store.  This was such a pain, I have better things I have to do with my time than deal with these idiots!
