I hired synergy to design and host a website for my company. They charged me a healthy amount up front then a monthly fee. All was fine till I started getting a lot of charges from them on my credit card. So I cancelled my credit card and told them when they called looking for money that I'd like to be billed via email and I would send them a check monthly. So for the next few months all was well. I even prepaid for about 4 months in advance. Never saw an email or anything from them again. I got a call from them a few weeks ago stating I owed them money from a very rude woman named Ashley and I said I owed a lot more than I actually owed.

i told her I haven't seen a bill that's why I have not paid and that I would happily pay for the months I'm behind. She said they don't bill and if I didn't pay what she was asking she would send my account to collections. they said I'd have to pay a $200 cancellation fee when I didn't want to cancel. She then deactivated my website which I'm now loosing business and changed the user name and passwords to my domain names since I gave them the passwords to work on my website etc...  They are impossible and rude to work with. There extorting money that I dont owe them and they stole my domain name!! OH and to top it off i was talking to another person in my field and small world he said he once used synergy and they did the same thing to him. That there a complete nightmare!!  I wish I new!
