We signed up for Synnd before we know about content marketing.  Their system does not even do what it states – improve our social networking.  We opened two tickets and these were both unresolved.  Google rewards for legitimate content and Synnd is a fraud and does not work.  I contacted Dan Gronsbell at Synnd regarding a LOT of unused credits we had with them and told them I am no longer interested.

I do NOT want to be blacklisted by Google for black hat practices.  Mr. Gronsbell suggested that we sell the credits.  So I attempted to sell credits, started with the references listed on the Synnd website, Joel at Kneeded Therapy said “no way” they don’t use Synnd anymore.  Chris Swift/Noble Pay had so many scam ratings I didn’t even bother contacting him.  In short I made every effort to sell Synnd credits to both the people who gave “testimonials” regarding Synnd and other prospects.

Nobody will touch Synnd.  I talked to Mr. Gronsbell about this and he ran me around in circles with email basically stating nothing.  He offered 3X the credits but again I don’t want to be blacklisted by Google.

I will regularly write about and expose Synnd for the scam it is.

Sincerely Andrew L.  Boston, MA

Response To Claim

AUTHOR: Dan - ()

POSTED: Friday, September 12, 2014

We strive to address every customer concern in a timely manner.  While not perfect, we do take every effort to satisfy each and every customer.  There are a number of issues at the heart of this complaint that really must be addressed.

1. SYNND is NOT a social network software.  Social "marketing" is totally different from "networking".  So it seems that the customer signed up for the wrong type of service and wanted to cancel months down the road.  We cannot issue a refund for this.  SYNND is a content syndication tool and is advertised as such.  We increase the visibility of content.  We do not advertise as something else.

2. Our support team did respond to both tickets.  We have confirmed that an email was sent from our support desk to the customer.  If the support email was not whitelisted by the customer, which does happen, than it is possible that our responses did not make it to their inbox.  Our outbound address has been whitelisted by Amazon.

3. We have thousands of happy customers, many of whom have been with us since 2009.  There are many reasons why a user of marketing software does not achieve the desired results.  Stating that SYNND does not work is a very broad statement and is not supported by the volume of users we have.  They would not stay with the system if that was the case.  There are many variables that effect the level of success with our system.  As we are simply syndicating the content, it is up to people viewing the content to recommend it to others, visit the company's website, etc.  We confirm that content reaches its destination or no customer credits are used.  We have zero control over whether the content is based on a topic of interest or is of high quality.

4. We were contacted after an extended period in regard to the unused credits.  The customer decided not to use them, as they WERE available, and requested us to keep the account open for free until they were used.  We cannot afford to provide free services; we need to pay our bills.  We offered to keep the account open for a period of time and we would absorb the cost.  In our terms of service, which the customer agreed to, it stats that an account must be active (paid for) in order to use the service.  We DO roll over credits each month as a courtesy, something few companies do.

5. The customer stated that they would be blacklisted.  This does not make any sense as all we are doing is syndicating their content.  This is something they could do manually, but we simply provide more visibility and do it faster (i.e. automation).

In Closing:

Our desire, as always, is to make each customer happy, even those that choose not to continue with our software.  However, accusing a business of being a scam, despite the facts being rebuffed above, is truly unfair in this case.  We have thousands of happy users, have won an industry award, and have been providing a cost effective solution for 5 years.  The Internet has made it easy to go to sites like this and post accusations about a business or even a person at the business who is trying to help, even when it is not justified.
