I never do this but I feel like it's worth the words at this point. I signed up for daily service for the newspaper #tampabaytimes to be delivered for my mom for the year. It was to start the day after Christmas. My mom has a tough time walking far especially early in the morning so after her first delivery she called and requested it be delivered closer to her door. Long story short she called for 8 days in a row.
We were promised by every person it would be taken care of each day and it never was. We were promised on 3 separate occasions that a supervisor would call us back and NO ONE ever has. It has been the worst customer service I have ever had and is completely unacceptable In my opinion especially for someone who is requesting something for a disability. DO NOT sign up for #tampabaytimes as they simply do not care about their customers or follow through with what they promise!!!

My mother used to deliver herself. You call the paper they send the message to the driver who is supposed to accommodate. They even contacted his supervisor who should've made sure it was corrected and it was not. You are completely wrong when you say the drivers don't get directions as they absolutely do.

The appropriate person to speak with is THE DRIVER!!!!! Calling customer service does NOTHING!!!! The DRIVER is the one to speak to as THEY are the ones who have to put it closer!!! All the DRIVER gets is a LIST OF ADDRESSES!!!! No instructions!!! SO IF you want mom to not walk so far then SPEAK WITH THE PERSON WHO DELIVERS YOUR PAPER!!! If the newspaper has NOT instructed the driver to doorstep the paper then HOW are they going to KNOW to do it???
