More of the same. They charged me $3200 up front and did nothing. Thankfully, I charged it and had the charges reversed.

Listen to the advice in precvious posts here. Do it yourself or go to a trusted tax attorney or CPA. "Anthony Caico," the allged name of the "professional" I spoke with, actually had the gall to try to scam me into changing my mind after the charges were reversed. These people have no conscience and no class.

False Accusations

AUTHOR: Tax Relief Specialists - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, January 13, 2009

To Whom It May Concern,
First, let us say that anytime a client or perspective client has a concern that they feel is important enough to contact any agency, we welcome the opportunity to first help and resolve the issue through communication; we clearly have an open door policy to listen to any concern that may come from the client. We welcome any and all discussions for resolution before it would have to get to this forum. I regret that our client did not give us this opportunity in this matter and I hope that you read this rebuttal with an open mind and allow the facts to do the talking. Please keep in mind that all information is documented below by our database system that tracks and time/date stamps every interaction we have with the client, employee, and governmental agency (See the log below).
Our client, Timothy Burns, called us originally to help with a tax problem with the Internal Revenue Service on September 9, 2008, when we took him through a financial interview and explained his options to him. He then decided to hire our company for representation and resolution of his tax issue. We forwarded him the necessary documents to begin action and had him sign the Tax Power of Attorney for the IRS along with a Payment Authorization to process his credit card. We immediately faxed the Tax Power of Attorney to the IRS so that we could speak to them on his behalf.
At this point we contacted the IRS and put all collection action on hold. We mailed out a package of questionnaires which we requested that he fill out and get back to us as soon as possible so we could settle his case. Once we received the documents from Mr. Burns, we began negotiation proceedings and moved forward from there, while remaining in contact with the IRS.
We understand that Mr. Burns wanted us to complete an Offer to Compromise, which means that he would have a balance still left over to pay to the IRS, but through our investigation of the financial information he provided to us and the questionnaires which we sent to him we found out that Mr. Burns could not even afford to pay the IRS anything, so we moved forward with getting him qualified for None Collectable Status. This means he would not have to pay the IRS anything. This result is actually better than what he hired us for and would have the IRS classify his debt as a none collectable debt and would maintain a hold on any collection of any amount that the IRS claimed he owed. That was achieved by Ms. Lee, CPA on the case on December 8, 2008, and she personally called Mr. Burns to notify him.
Many of the statements that Mr. Burns is making are just flat out false and untrue. He claims we never contacted the IRS, when in fact we have the IRS agent's names and employee numbers each time we spoke to them along with a time and date stamp of each call. So that is proof itself that we were representing the client. We also resolved his tax problem to the point that he would not have to pay them a dime.
We find it very disturbing that our client is disputing our fee and our services after we notified him that we had achieved this positive outcome. Now if the client would like us to still complete an Offer to Compromise we would be more than happy to but we as professionals would find that any amount would be too much for Mr. Burns to pay.
In closing, we are still wondering what we did wrong. If Mr. Burns would like to talk about this issue, he is more than welcome to do so by simply giving us a call.
Below you will find a copy of our transcripts of everything that happened on the case so far with a time/date stamp:
