I called Tax Relief Specialists after reading about the success they "claimed" to have given Customers. I called the tool free number and Anthony Caico answered. We spoke but I was leary and left it alone. He called back a month later and "reassured" me that they were a ligitmate company and they would do the work for me. I send him a Ripoff notice from this site and he read it and said their company was ligitimate and would guarantee success. This was in August of 08.

Mr. Caico then put a Mrs. Helen Lee on the case and she was my point of contact. My paperwork was "supposedly filed" with the FTB and IRS. I got a few notices from each of them that they were going to garnish my Wages if I didn't respond or pay. I called Mrs. Lee and she "claimed" she called them and told them that a "Power of Attorney" was filed with TRS. The IRS and FTB backed off but this was in November.

After 42 emails nothing has been done to lower my Tax bills to each agency. I finally go frustrated and asked Mrs. Lee when this would be resolved and she said "another 5-6 months" and that was it for me. They just keep putting me off week after week.

I called the FTB and IRS and they said they have not heard from Mrs. Lee since the Power of Attorney was filed. Back in November I when I had the IRS phone call, the Attendant said to me, "you people will not learn will you? These people (TRS) will just get your money and never do a thing for you and you all end up crying end up dealing with us like you should have from the beginning!" I guess she was right.

Stay from this bunch; and this Mr. Caico is slick and can talk. He is better than the Bush that just left the White House. I am sick to my stomach right now but have to find an Attorney that will help me get my money back.

To whom it may concern,

We had posted a 21 page rebuttal but unfortunately Rippoff Report (the website) only posted page one. And they left 20 other pages of evidence that would prove that we have helped this person and are still working on his tax case to resolve it.
If any potential client gets this far in the report and would like the other 20 pages, they can contact us directly and we would be happy to supply it.

To Whom It May Concern,
Our client, Justin S, called us originally to help with a tax problem with Internal Revenue Service and State of California on August 25, 2008, which we took him through a financial interview and explained his options to him. Our representative did call him two additional times, leaving messages, on how we can help. He then decided to call back and hire our company for representation and resolution of his tax issue's a full week later. We forwarded him the necessary documents to begin action and had him sign the Tax Power of Attorney for the IRS and State of CA along with the company bank account so that he could make a direct deposit into our account because he did not trust giving any personal information. I share this because, if you put things into perspective, Mr. S is hiring us but refused at this point to give us his personal information. We have nothing negative to say about Mr. Justin S himself. We feel sorry for him, he is a veteran of the Vietnam War and suffers from Agent Orange Disease, plus has had a bout with cancer as well. Mr. S is a person that also has other medical conditions, most important PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). All these symptoms feed into his distrusting of people period. Even though we knew prior of his condition, our representative felt we could help and we still took on the case to try and help. We immediately faxed the Tax Power of Attorney into the IRS and State of CA so that we could speak to them on his behalf.

At this point we contacted IRS and State of CA to put all collection action on hold. We mailed out a package of questionnaires which we requested that he fill out and get back to us within 14 to 30 days so we could settle his case.

Unfortunately we did not receive this documentation for a full 2 months later. Once we received the documents from Mr. S there were many things missing so it took an additional month to put this case together. At this point we began negotiation proceedings and moved forward from there, while remaining in contact with the IRS and State of CA so no collection action happened. Mr. Silva states that they were sending him collections notices but you will see by the information attached below that there were zero collection proceedings but only negotiations. These are a normal process of dealing with any tax problem or any governmental agency.
We understand that Mr. S wants us to complete an Offer to Compromise, which we still have plans on doing but he refuses to understand or accept is there are strategies behind every case so that we can solve it but things take time and we want to do what is best for Mr. S.
Now Mr. S has sent many emails and we have answered every single one. We are still working on solving this case but because of it's complexity the IRS and State of CA are delayed in their process of this case. That does not mean we are not working on the case but in a holding pattern for the government, much like everybody that deals with them on a daily basis.
We have done nothing wrong and we continue to help Mr. Silva, as we have from the beginning and though he filed this frivolous report we are going to complete the case.

Below we have attached the work load with time and dates of everything including IRS and State agents we have spoke to along with their employee numbers and email exchanges between the client and our firm.

Finally, we regret that this case has come to this point but feel that Mr. S has only contributed to his own issues of not being able to trust people. We have and will continue to help people that have tax problems.
be a warning first right? Anyway, I get off at 2PM and I am coming staight home and getting this mess over with. I want to be done with all of this.
