Tax Business Owners Beware!!!

I was a ProSeries client for a while and was approached by a sales person from Refundo that moved to TaxSlayer. He sold me on the many features of TaxSlayer. You live and you learn. The software was horrible (my opinion). I do not like when softwares crash mid-return processing, take 7 minutes to load pdf return for printing, are not able to process amendments for NY when it should, etc... It was a horrible experience for me. 

I notified the sales rep over and over throughout the season and told him over and over I will not be renewing with his company. At no point in time did he tell me that refunds entitled to me would be used to force me to sign up for another tax year. You heard me! They stole my refund of $1,095 and refuse to give it to me, now I had to get a lawyer involved. Unethical, unprofessional and down right thieves.

The sales rep. Jason Knewtown kept telling me he did not know they would do this, he was new to the company and kept telling me he is talking to the Director, everytime I called, he was speaking to the Director that day. But no return calls.

For small business owners that rely on income, it's unbelievable that a company such as TaxSlayer can steal from us.
