TechRoger Instant Roku Support scamed to get access to information on my computer by posing at Roku repair Rochester Hills Michigan

My  name is Pat, I was having trouble with the Roku streaming device and a called a number 1-877-937-1377 that was listed under the Roku main number and later found out it was really named Tech Rogers, LLC or Instant Roku Support.  They were unable to fix my Roku without getting direct access to my computer as I was having some other issues that day I went ahead and let them "fix" my machine I was told my problem with the Roku was that someone hacked into my network and was trying to steal my information, banking and important things.  He showed me a long list of problems and said it was a trojan that sent messages back to those people and that he would delete all of that but it was $170.00 to have it fixed.  I was so upset that I did not realize that I was speaking to a scam artist and I agreed to let them fix it.  After two hours on the phone while he had access to my computer the Roku was again fixed but as I thought about it I have an anti-virus on the computer and I had no other problems other than the Roku and last time I talked with Roku and it needed fixed it was fixed for fee.  When they called me back I realized it was not coming from Roku at all and when I questioned it I was told not to worry that they had gotten rid of all of the bugs.  The I went to a site on the computer called "Live Ripoff Report" and saw the same number that I had called and they had a similar experience only it was for a Kindle.  I then called my charge card company and stopped the payment and as I had a credit at Amazon they had sent them a gift certificate for the some of the bill and Amazon sent it to a zeek2211@gmail.com, which is probably a private person. I was more worried about them being able to steal from me as they now knew the insides of my computer.  So I want everyone to be aware of this scam.  I am told they now have access to everything and will come back later and get into my banking accounts.

Roku said they never would have charged me at all and it could have been fixed without ever going to the computer.
