You know you’re in trouble as a supposed investigative journalist, when in your “About” page bio you have to point out to people that you’re a “professional financial investigative journalist.” Anytime you have to point out to someone that you’re a “professional” casts huge doubts that you actually are. 

So, Ms. “Professional” Journalist, you think it’s professional to write bad checks? More than $1,000 in bad checks? Let’s have a little professional investigatory work done on that. It wasn’t that hard to find the court filings in Newport County detailing the check bouncing. I mean, seriously – how do you go about reporting on the financial misdeeds of organizations while conveniently ignoring your own financial felonies?

And let’s not forget about that conviction you had in Norwalk, Conn., Superior Court where you were found guilty on misdemeanor charges of harassment and breach of peace for posting parts of a minor’s diary on Facebook and sentenced to 30 days in jail, one-year probation and a strict order not to interact with the victims' family.

Now there’s some professionalism on display.
