On Dec. 15th 2009 I bought a wii from Nathan Smith (sandiegofan444) on ebay. Stated in product info that he was in the NAVY and he was leaving out in a week. He wanted to sell before he left and would like it to go to someone who really wanted one. Stated that he would do a buy it now. I wrote to him, told him my situation and he agreed to sell it to me for set price.

He said he couldn't take paypal because there wasn't time for him to get it set up before he left. Said I could send money order or check. He gave me his email address and phone number. He wanted me send money to his brother's (Terry Smith)address being he was leaving out. He said that he would go ahead and send the wii the next day. I agreed to go ahead and over night the money.

I did get a comfirmation number to track. It wasn't showing any tracking so he said he would recheck number and gave me another number. When I got package it was an envelope that had a Pepboys auto rewards card. The address was not my right address but the post office called to ask if it was for me.

I put both the tracking numbers in at the usps.com and the one number showed it went to MA. and was returned for bad address. After the first number wasn't showing anything I got worried and googled names and found out about scams. I did check on ebay and found out he kept stopping and relisting items until christmas. He is now a nonregistered user.
