I ordered a gift online through their website. I went online to the USPS website to check the status everday after I received the shipping confirmation through e-mail and it kept showing processed in Wisconsin, which is where this company is.

Two weeks later I called the company to see what was going on and they wouldn't help me! They said I needed to wait 30 days to make a claim and hung up on me various times. I contacted the Wisconsin main post office and they said the package was never received, they only got an electronic notification that it would be shipped.

Since then I have called and left several messages to get my money refunded and they have not answered nor returned any of my calls. I have made a claim with the post office but there is not much they can do.

Dont buy from this company! They are sending electronic notifications and trying to get money from claims on "lost items" with the USPS.

Good shipping and follow-through for me; bad internet security

AUTHOR: Jeff - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, April 15, 2010

I ordered a rifle through one of this company's many web sites.  The business transaction and FFL transfer went smoothly.  About three weeks later the credit card number I used for the transaction was being used in New Zealand for expensive purchases.  I had not used the credit card for intervening purchases since the rifle.

I did a little homework and found this link  http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=438261).  Apparently, my experience is not unusual.  The internet security for credit card transactions used by this company is very weak.  This seems to have been true for years with no efforts to address the problem.

If you want to take advantage of the low prices they often offer on firearms, consider a safe way to make the payment, such as temporary credit card numbers that can be set up for individual sales.  Some credit card companies offer this type of service.

The facts

AUTHOR: Johnny - (U.S.A.)

This is just an example of the ruthless way which are used to make this company appear to be legitimate. They don't own any products, they merely order then as needed, other than that they are one of the least pro gun companies on the market. One of the recent slogans was "we cut staff to give you better prices", which came after firing an employee, less then two weeks after receiving an award for great performance. This company also out sources their labor to India, and claims to be patriotic Americans. Also Jeff is an employee for TGSCOM, and has not even been working there for three years!

AUTHOR: Silverhawk - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, May 11, 2009

I have just completed the purchase of 2 count them 2 firearms from Midwayhuntersoutlet.com a TGSCom company. Not only did I get them items in a timely fasion, the order status information was updated daily and no phone calls were required at all. The weapons showed up a few days after I received emails showing they had shipped. I will purchase more from this company without hesitation. Reference Order #'s 226695 & 233370

I have 3 years of proof that says this is not true!!!

AUTHOR: Jeff - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 13, 2008

I have been purchasing from Glockworld.com for 3 years. I have never had a problem, never gotten bad customer service and never had an order lost. In fact quite the opposite, I have had great luck with Glockworld.com. Good prices, excellent customer service and all around a good experience. So, maybe they are not the quickest online company out there. I can deal with that, good customer service and good prices are what I am looking for. I have found both at Glockworld.com. I have 3 years of proof that say this report is not true.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Absolutely NOT true

AUTHOR: Eric Thompson - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 12, 2008

This customer ordered on our website on 6.18.2008. We shipped on 6.20.2008. The customer contacted us on 6.27.2008 stating that they did not get the $14.90 package that they ordered. We had shipped it USPS First Class with delivery confirmation. On 7.1.2008 we refunded the FULL amount of $14.90 due to the USPS not delivering the package.

After finding this post, I looked up the customer's name and found that there was only one customer with that name in our database from that date range and from Miami. I looked up the USPS tracking number and see that this customer had the package marked as delivered by the USPS on 7.3.2008. Mind you that we have already refunded the amount to the customer.

There are no further notes in the order that would lead me to believe that the customer has 1. Called to apologize for something that wasn't our fault 2. Taken down or updated this post to tell the whole story or 3. Paid us for our product.

Here is the USPS tracking number: 9101805213907503556741 which can be tracked here: http://www.usps.com/shipping/trackandconfirm.htm
