THE APPLIANCE GUY ​ Warranty...ha! What warranty? MIDVALE Utah

I purchased a side-by-side just for the ice dispenser. But it didn't work, so he came and got it and switched with a different one that I had to pay more for. But then, this one worked. However, it wouldn't stop running...it ran all the time. I called and called and called and he promised he's come look at it or have one of the other repairmen come look. Nothing...no one ever came. Finally, after a few months and far beyond the warranty period I decided to hire a 'real' repairman to come in to check it out. He found that the fan mounting was loose and jamming up the fan, hence the reason it ran all the time...it couldn't cool down. The fridge was actually hot to the touch (on the door!) Amazingly, the thing didn't burn up having ran constantly for so long. I had to pay nearly as much for the repair as I had paid for the appliance in the first place. So, my adice...if they say 'it works good for us...we've had it working in here for quite some time...no problems, etc., etc... then be prepared to shell out a few more hundred dollars to hire a 'real' appliance technician to fix the P.O.S. you just purchased from this place! Don't believe the 'positive' reviews...they probably work there.
