The Coral Resorts Sales Rep. sold us the TIMESHARE & INCORRECT INFO WAS GIVEN. Hilton Head Island South Carolina

We went to Hilton Head Island for our yearly vacation spot. We attended one of those 90 min timeshare setting and been through the routine before. We really loved one of the timeshares place called CORAL SANDS RESORT.

Well our sales Rep named PETER was telling us the owner is very rich and doesn't want to charge his customers a lot of money for maintenance fees or what not. Because our sale rep was the owner son-n-law.

But our sale rep went through the process of explaining all the fees. We spoke to the financial advisor there telling us that our payment would be $86 a month since we are active military and out maintenance fees are $600 every two years. We got everything settle and brought the timeshare.

Well we received our payment book and our payments are $175 a month and we called them explaining to them that our payment was never agreed to be that high. In so many words from the timeshare that they can't quote us payments that low and we have to pay the payments.

Then we get our maintenance fees, we went through the ceiling we have to pay $2500 every other year. We refused to pay them a dime and informed them that they quoted us a certain fee that it was less than our other timeshare in the same location.

Well the maintenance place stated only they can give us a set maintenance quote. They will not negotiate the price with us, since the CORAL SANDS rep & Financial advisor told us that it was this amount. They told us that not true about the maintenance fee quote we got in our initial setting. We have lost all our RCI points for last 4 years and getting a bad credit rating from them since we refused to pay our maintenance fees.

BEWARE OF BUYING TIMESHARES FROM THIS COMPANY. IT IS BIG TIME LOSING BATTLE. They will not return your calls and keep putting you off.
We are filing a complaint against the company but it goes to deaf ears. We are asking for any help that anyone can give us. The sale rep and financial advisor gave us false statements about the fees and payment.
